New for 2009, Twisted Throttle has released Rally Style Crashbars/Engine Guards for the popular Suzuki DL650 V-Strom. The German manufacturer SW-Motech has completely revamped the style and construction of these bars from the ground up. The new bars feature a thicker tubing diameter than previous models (1" vs. 7/8"), extend higher up on the plastics for more direct impact protection, and are fully compatible with the SW-Motech aluminum skidplate for the 'Strom. Riders can also choose to install optional footpeg clamps for mounting highway pegs in a number of comfortable positions. As with many Motech products, the crashbars are finished with a heavy-duty black powdercoating and are designed tightly along the lines of the bike for an integrated look while still providing excellent crash protection. Fit and finish is outstanding, and all necessary mounting hardware and instructions are included.
